Debate has been aplenty on Twitter over Celtic’s best starting line-up.

Debate has been rife on Twitter of late since former Scottish ace Tam McManus asked who is Brendan Rodgers’ first name on the Celtic teamsheet – and ex-Hoops stars Rab Douglas and Simon Donnelly have made their choice.
McManus disagreed with a claim made by Chris Sutton, with the latter claiming James Forrest has been the best player in the country “this season”.

The Scotland international scored his 12th goal of 2017-18 in a 2-0 win over Dundee on Boxing Day, opening the scoring with a really well-worked team goal that saw Forrest convert a low Kieran Tierney cross.
BBC Sport pundit McManus believes Scott Brown is the best, before asking Twitter who he thought was Celtic’s best player. Former goalkeeper Douglas also picked Brown, while Donnelly made a surprise choice in Callum McGregor.
Scott Brown remains captain of Rodgers’ side at 32 years old, missing just three Scottish Premiership matches throughout 2017-18 due to a knee injury.
His passing and dictating of the tempo remains a crucial asset in Rodgers’ side, but it is helped the box-to-box efforts of midfield partner McGregor.
The 24-year-old has found the back of the net seven times this term, adding six goals in assists during his 32 appearances and has just much effect at the back as he does going forward.
Celtic are next in action against Old Firm rivals Rangers on Hogmanay, as they look to further extend their lead at the top of the table and succumb Murty’s side to a third successive loss.
