Nelson Oliveira has netted four times in his last seven Nottingham Forest appearances.
Dougie Freedman has told Sky Sports that Nelson Oliveira will only get better for Nottingham Forest as the season progresses.
Oliveira has started to establish his place in Forest’s first-team of late, and he seems to be fully settled at the City Ground now.
The striker, who arrived in the summer on loan from Benfica, scored the Reds’ opening goal during their 2-1 win over Milton Keynes Dons.
And Freedman said: “We got two goals, could have got three in the first 20 minutes had Nelson put away another chance.
“Nelson has that cutting edge and he is only going to get better for us.”
Oliveira made a slow start to his Forest career in a goal-scoring sense, but he has managed to find his feet now.
The 24-year-old has netted four times in his last seven appearances and his good form has helped Forest turn their results around.
Freedman’s side have avoiding defeat in all but one of their last seven matches.
Forest are now stationed in 13th place in the Championship standings, and they will be looking to climb even further up the table over the busy Christmas period.
