Alex Crook has told talkSPORT on Thursday morning that Tottenham could make a ‘double raid’ of Wolves for Willy Boly and Daniel Podence.
The talkSPORT reporter shared how Sevilla centre-back, Jules Koundé, has snubbed Tottenham and they are now looking elsewhere for options.
Whilst Podence was signed up by Wolves when they were in the Premier League, someone like Boly has been a key member of that Nuno side since their days in the Championship.
And now Nuno is looking to re-unite with the hard-hitting Frenchman and the ball-carrying Portuguese expert in North London.
“Interesting developments at Tottenham,” said Crook. “One player they have been heavily linked with and have been in negotiations for is Jules Koundé.
“Word coming out of Spain that despite the fact that there is a willingness from Spurs to do a deal, maybe with Davinson Sanchez going the other way, he’s not keen on that move and wants to play Champions League football.
“It could lead Nuno back to his old club Wolves. Willy Boly, according to my contacts in Portugal, possibly that Nuno would like to take from Molineux.
“And so to Daniel Podence, a frustrating player in many ways because there is clearly some talent there. But clearly a player Nuno has faith in, so there could be some kind of double raid on Wolves.”

NUNO RAID OF WOLVES INEVITABLE
Well, Wolves fans won’t be surprised that Nuno is knocking on their door for their players, but both Podence and Boly are key to their future plans.
Someone like Boly is needed more at Spurs than Podence because, as Nuno will find pretty quickly, the biggest problem at the club is the defence.
The key thing with Boly is that he has the capabilities of playing both in a back three and in a flat back four.
Plus, he has the herculean-like strength, versatility and ball-playing ability on the ball to improve this declining and lifeless Spurs defence if he were to sign.
