Leicester City were flying in the Premier League before football came to a standstill. The Foxes were favourites to qualify for the Champions League but there are a few question marks now.

Brendan Rodgers’ side failed to win any of their first four games since Project Restart. Two draws and two defeats didn’t look good for them but the Foxes bounced back brilliantly with a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Next up for Leicester is Arsenal who are in high spirits after four wins on the trot in all competitions. The Foxes smashed the Gunners earlier in the season thanks to goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison.

Sadly for them, they will be without one of the above. Maddison is a doubt for the game at the Emirates along with Ben Chilwell who are both key players for Rodgers.

“We’ve got doubts over James Maddison and Ben Chiwell. They could be the two who could struggle. We just have to wait and see. Ben’s is at the bottom of his foot. It’s giving him pain. We’ll see what the specialist says. Sometimes you can play through it,” said the Foxes boss to Leicester Mercury.

Maddison missed Leicester’s win against Crystal Palace as well and he will be a big loss for the Foxes. Arsenal have looked a lot better at the back under Mikel Arteta which will make it difficult for Rodgers’ side to break them down.

Chilwell’s influence both in attack and in defence combined with Maddison’s vision in the final third could have caused a ton of problems for the Gunners but Leicester will now have to plan differently to hurt the Londoners.

A win is an absolute necessity for the Foxes. A defeat tomorrow could see Manchester United equalling their points tally. Chelsea could go above them as well which would put serious doubts over Leicester’s Champions League chances.

Rodgers will depend on Vardy to do what he does best tomorrow night and with nine goals in nine previous games against Arsenal, he will back himself to deliver again.
