Leeds United winger Raphinha has posted a clip on his Instagram story on Thursday of him nutmegging West Ham’s Said Benrahma last week.
West Ham recorded a 2-1 win at Elland Road last Saturday, with Michail Antonio breaking Leeds’ hearts by scoring a late winner.
But it seems as though one moment during the game hasn’t been forgotten by the quick-footed Leeds trickster.
Raphinha posted a clip of him working his magic near the touchline, before putting the ball through Benrahma’s legs, who looked down to the turf in dejection.
What’s worse is that he has tagged the West Ham flyer on his video, so this is either him rubbing it in or they are known to each other and are just bantering with one another.
Either way, a number of supporters have reacted to it and they think Raphinha is rubbing it in, especially given that he tagged him into the video.
It’s a pretty brutal clip, which will no doubt probably result in his opposition responding.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Benrahma decides to post a clip of Antonio scoring the winning goal because, at the end of the day, it was the Algerian and his teammates who had the last laugh.
But, at the end of the day, for players of Raphinha and Benrahma’s ilk, putting opposition players on their backsides and pulling out a new trick every week is like scoring a goal for them.
Here is a selection of supporters reacting to Raphinha’s IG post:
