Liverpool have completed the signings of the talented midfield duo.

Jurgen Klopp, Manager of Liverpool looks on during a training session on April 9, 2018 in Liverpool, England.

Liverpool enjoyed a relatively successful campaign this season, despite losing out to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday.

The Reds will undoubtedly be stronger next season, though, and it could be argued that they should now be considered as Manchester City’s closest challengers for the Premier League title.

Liverpool confirmed a deal to sign Fabinho from Monaco yesterday via their official club website, and the addition of the versatile Brazilian, combined with the impending acquisition of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig should make them a real force next term.

Fabinho and Keita will bring much needed energy and quality to the Reds’ engine room, and will surely help elevate them to an entirely new level.

Fabinho, 24, is most comfortable when operating in the deep-lying midfield role, and he will be more than an able bodied replacement for Emre Can, who is set to leave Anfield this summer.

He is cool and composed when in possession, and possesses a wonderful array of passing.

The Brazilian will move to Anfield on July 1st for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £43.7 million, according to Sky Sports.

Keita, meanwhile, is an incredibly energetic box-to-box midfielder, and his output in both the defensive and attacking thirds will greatly improve Liverpool.

The Guinean is set to join the Reds this summer, for a fee believed to be worth £54 million, according to the Guardian.

With the two new midfield players set to arrive on Merseyside next month, Klopp’s men seem to be in fine fettle heading into next season, and will surely push Manchester City all the way in the Premier League title race.
