Liverpool’s squad would surely be complete if they signed the Roma stopper and the Ajax defender.

Liverpool have often been criticised this season for their fragile back-line, although they have undoubtedly improved since Virgil van Dijk arrived at Anfield in January.
Jürgen Klopp still has a lot of work to do, however, if he is to build a squad who are capable of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
The addition of a world-class goalkeeper and another top class centre-back will be of paramount importance to the Reds’ hopes of challenging for major honours next season.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have identified Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker as a key summer transfer target, and whilst the Brazilian would be an exceptional signing for the Reds, they would need to compliment his arrival with another centre-back, and who better than Ajax youngster Matthijs de Ligt.
According to the Mirror, Roma’s Alisson is available for around £52 million this summer, whilst the Ajax defender is valued at around £45 million, according to the Sun.

For a total of £97 million, the Merseyside outfit could get themselves two exceptional players, and with the £145 million they received from Philippe Coutinho’s sale to Barcelona in January burning a hole in their pocket, they would easily be able to afford the two players.
Liverpool fans are expecting their side to make a sustained push for the Premier League title next season, after going 28 years without a top flight trophy, and if Klopp manages to bring Alisson and De Ligt to Anfield in the summer, they will have every chance of doing just that.
