Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with two exciting players who could transform their team from nearly men into title winners.

Tottenham’s two biggest issues are in central midfield, with Mousa Dembele needing to be replaced, and in attack, with extra goal threat needed to support Harry Kane.

Two perfect solutions appear to be on the club’s radar.

The Mirror report Tottenham are planning a move for PSV Eindhoven star Hirving Lozano, a dynamic threat for their attack.

Lozano scored 19 goals for PSV last season and starred at the World Cup for Mexico.

He is the perfect foil for striker Harry Kane, able to play out wide and compete with Erik Lamela, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura in attack.

His presence would give Spurs greater versatility to play Son up front more often and when required to give Kane a rest.

In midfield, Tottenham are linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, also by The Mirror.

Rabiot’s contract expires next summer and Tottenham have a chance to strike a deal for the midfielder in January, and bring in a third PSG player, following Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura.

The tenacious France international would immediately compete for a starting spot at Spurs and could be a real bargain.

If Tottenham get land both Rabiot and Lozano in January then providing they are still in touch with the leaders, a title challenge is on.
