Derby County lost against Cardiff City at home in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Derby County’s disappointing run of form continued on Tuesday evening, as they lost yet again in the Championship.
The Rams suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Cardiff City at the iPro Stadium in the league.
Steve McClaren’s side were 2-0 up at one stage, but they eventually failed to pick up a single point from the encounter.
Former Great Britain swimmer Ross Davenport was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the performance of the Rams and the final result.
The Double Commonwealth champion and three-time Olympian is a Derby fan, and he made the following posts on social networking site Twitter:
The defeat against Cardiff means that Derby are now 11th in the Championship table.
The Rams have picked up 47 points from 31 matches, eight fewer than Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
Derby will return to action on February 21 when they take on Burton Albion at the iPro Stadium in the Championship.
McClaren’s side still have a chance of clinching a playoff spot, but they have to start building momentum soon.
