Dorus de Vries joined Celtic from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2016.

De Vries has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England.
The 36-year-old arrived at Celtic Park with a strong reputation and had worked with manager Brendan Rodgers at Swansea City.

The Dutchman, though, failed to challenge Craig Gordon for a place in the starting lineup.
Until Saturday afternoon against Dundee at Celtic Park, De Vries had not made a single competitive appearance for Celtic for over a year.
The former Swansea and Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper has revealed that he was not allowed to leave Celtic last year.

De Vries has also said that he is not looking too ahead regarding his future at Celtic.
“There were opportunities for me to leave last year but I wasn’t allowed to go,” De Vries told The Scottish Sun.
“That shows the faith the gaffer has in me, someone with experience on the side to push Craig.
“My contract is up in the summer but I’m not looking too far ahead. To play in this stadium with the crowd behind you is amazing.”
Celtic are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup this season.
