Former Chelsea star Andre Schurrle likely to miss Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League tie with Tottenham.

Former Chelsea star Andre Schurrle faces an uphill battle if he is to be fit for Borussia Dortmund’s game against Tottenham Hotspur next week.
Spurs hold Dortmund at Wembley next Wednesday (13/9) in the opening round of Champions League group games.
Dortmund are already without Marco Reus who is out injured until the New Year and was not named in the club’s Champions League squad.

This would make next weekend (18/9) his most likely return date, but a quicker recovery could see him make the trip to London.
Dortmund recently lost star attacker Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona, although have added Ukrainian winger Andriy Yarmolenko to their squad.

Schurrle spent two seasons at Chelsea and is best remembered for his World Cup final winning assist for Mario Gotze.
