Newcastle United are bookmakers’ second favourites to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Grealish has been at Villa his entire professional club football career so far, and has established himself as an important player for the Villans.
According to Sky Bet, Newcastle are second favourites to secure the services of the 22-year-old attacking player with odds of 13/2.
Football Whispers has rated Grealish’s chances of leaving Championship club Villa for Premier League side Newcastle as 3.0 out of 5.
Former Villa defender Dorigo has suggested that Grealish, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, can fulfil his potential at Villa Park.
The former Chelsea and Leeds United defender, though, has suggested that clubs could come calling for Grealish if Villa do not get promoted to the Premier League from the Championship this season.

Dorigo told BetStars when asked if Grealish would fulfil his potential more at Newcastle in regard to recent speculation: “He can certainly fulfil his potential at Villa but Jack is a very talented individual.
“The consistency and the maturity is getting there but he still has work to do. If he can do that with Villa and get them to the Premier League then that would be excellent.
“At some point the Premier League clubs will come to pick off your best players so that’s why it’s so important for Villa to go straight back up this time around.”

Exit possible?
Villa need to get promoted to the Premier League in order to keep their best players for next season.
Grealish is playing well at the moment, and having already played in the Premier League, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder would be on the radar of clubs in the top flight of English football.
