
Some Liverpool supporters are urging the club not to sign a player with whom several of their Premier League rivals – including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur – are also being linked.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have all expressed an interested in signing Sergio Ramos at the end of his Real Madrid contract, according to 90min.
The website claims the sextet have ‘reached out’ to Ramos’s representatives to let them know that they could be keen on the 34-year-old – but only if genuinely wants to move to England when his deal expires next summer.
It is said that while talks between Real Madrid and Ramos regarding an extension are still ongoing, an agreement has yet to be reached between the two parties.
And Ramos is reported to be considering all of his options, which include moves far further afield than England and staying in Madrid.
