Speaking on his YouTube channel, Express journalist Ryan Taylor has been discussing Arsenal and their reported interest in Youri Tielemans.
The Belgian midfielder has long been linked with a move to the Gunners, and all signs seem to point towards a deal being done.
Edu has spoken to the players’ agents and according to some reports, Tielemans is just waiting for Arsenal to make an offer.
However, therein lies the issue, Arsenal are yet to make an offer, and they don’t seem to be in any sort of rush to push this deal through.
Fortunately though, according to Taylor, that offer will arrive, and Arsenal are just taking their time as they feel very relaxed about getting this deal over the line.
What’s been said?
Taylor spoke about Arsenal and their interest in Tielemans.
“Listen, Arsenal are really relaxed on Tielemans, we’ve seen over the past 12 hours that they’re going to pursue this deal even though they’ve tied up Fabio Vieira. The good thing for Arsenal is that there doesn’t seem to be anyone else in for Tielemans,” Taylor said.
“Tottenham signing Bissouma means that there is one less rival to worry about. There is a good relationship between Tielemans’ representatives and Edu. There’s a good relationship there, he has one year left on his contract, so they’ll consider any offers. Don’t worry, I think an offer will arrive in the coming weeks,” Taylor said.

Uncontested
Arsenal can afford to be quite relaxed with Tielemans as they seem to have an uncontested run at the midfielder.
Indeed, somehow, there are no other true contenders for the ‘special’ Belgian’s signature, and with Tielemans seemingly set on leaving Leicester, Arsenal can take their time on this one.
As Taylor says, an offer is coming, but with deals for Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus needing to be sorted first, Tielemans can be put on the backburner for a little while before Arsenal finalise this one.
Arsenal are relaxed about this signing and it looks as though Tielemans will be their player if they’re willing to cough up the cash.
