Hibernian fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing that Arsenal are sniffing around their teenage prodigy Josh Doig.
According to Goal, Arsenal are targeting the 18-year-old along with Celtic, Leeds and Manchester City.
Doig is also attracting interest from Chelsea, as a result of his fine performances up in Scotland.
Goal say that the left-back will command a fee of £1 million if he leaves the Scottish Premiership.
So far this season, the Edinburgh-born defender has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Hibs, recording two assists in those outings.

Judging by some Hibernian supporters’ reaction to the news, a move might be premature for the precocious talent.
One fan said that it’s ‘too soon’ while another added that it’s ‘way too early’ for Doig to be making such a move.
While that might concern Arsenal supporters, they needn’t worry.

It’s unlikely that Doig will be ousting Kieran Tierney from the left-back role anytime soon, so the Gunners are potentially just eyeing the Hibs prodigy as a future first-teamer.
There would be no harm in securing his signature, before loaning him back to Hibs or elsewhere, so he can continue his development.
Let’s see what some more Hibernian supporters have been saying about this news…
