Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has said on A League of Their Own on Sky Max (9:23pm, September 9, 2022) that he does not want Manchester City striker Erling Haaland to score a lot of goals.

Ramsdale, who joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer of 2021 for £24 million (Sky Sports), has said that he has mixed feelings about facing Haaland in the Premier League this season.

The Englishman goalkeeper has added that he does not want the 22-year-old Norway international striker to score too many goals.

Haaland joined City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

Top-quality striker

Erling Haaland is a world-class striker who is banging in the goals for fun for Manchester City at the moment.

The 22-year-old has hit the ground running at City and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has scored 10 goals and given one assist in six Premier League matches for Pep Guardiola’s side so far this season.

Haaland has also scored two goals in one UEFA Champions League match for the Citizens so far this campaign.

The Norwegian is simply unstoppable when he is on form.
