Brighton & Hove Albion fans are urging Yves Bissouma not to join Arsenal after his latest message on Twitter.

Bissouma posted a photo of himself in a throw-back Brighton shirt on the social media website, with Arsenal fans inundating him with messages urging him to come to the Emirates Stadium.

Football London have reported of Arsenal’s strong interest in the central midfielder, and suggested that he would like to join Mikel Arteta’s side.

But Brighton fans have now fired back and they are urging Bissouma not to leave them.

The appeal of joining Arsenal is clear from Bissouma’s perspective.

The £30 million man (Transfer Window Podcast) grew up supporting the North London side and there appears to be a ready-made opening for him at the Emirates Stadium alongside Thomas Partey.

However, it is worth noting that Arsenal look unlikely to qualify for European football.

And with interest now mounting in Bissouma’s services – including from Manchester City and Liverpool – it is far from a certainty that he ends up at the Emirates.
