Some Arsenal fans on Twitter have urged the club to hand Kido Taylor-Hart a new contract.
Taylor-Hart is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2021, and no new deal is in place yet.
It has been reported by Football.London that the winger will leave the Gunners once his current contract runs out.
The 18-year-old winger has yet to break into the Arsenal first team, but the teenager has trained with manager Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The youngster was in action for the Gunners’ Under-23 side against their Southampton counterparts in Premier League 2 this afternoon.
Taylor-Hart scored the second goal for Arsenal in the 29th minute when he tapped the ball into an open net.
The youngster has done well for the Under-23 side this season after impressing at the Under-18 level, but question marks remain over his future.
While it is hard to see Taylor-Hart establish himself in the Arsenal first team next season if he gets a new deal, he is only 18 year and not many players of that age get to play week in and week out for a Premier League club.
