The Daily Mail claim that Tottenham are ‘ready to strike’, with Willian in a contract stand off with Chelsea.
The Brazilian wants a three-year deal, but Chelsea are reluctant to offer him such a long-term contract at the age of 31.
Willian’s form for Chelsea has been extremely impressive in their last five games though, with the winger chipping in with five goals.
And Chelsea fans are now urging him not to join Spurs and stay with them.
If Willian was to join Tottenham he could help improve Mourinho’s attacking options in North London.
Spurs already have the likes of Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela who can play in wide areas, but Willian would offer them more experience in those positions.
