Emiliano Buendia has been linked with Arsenal, but some Norwich City fans do not want their star player to leave and join the Gunners.

Buendia is a player on Arsenal’s radar, with Eurosport reporting last month that the Gunners will make an offer for the Norwich attacking midfielder in the summer of 2021.

Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe are the two main creative midfielders in manager Mikel Arteta’s team, but while the latter is just 20, the former is only on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the season.

Buendia is an experienced player who has played in the Premier League with Norwich before and has just guided the Canaries back to the top flight of English football from the Championship.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists in 35 Championship matches for Norwich so far this season.

Arsenal could do with a player like Buendia who would be able to hit the ground running and would make the Gunners better in attack.

However, some Norwich fans do not want the Argentine playmaker to leave and have responded to his post on Twitter urging him to stay, as shown below.
