Some Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to Mikel Arteta’s update about Bukayo Saka.
The Gunners welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday but Saka, arguably their best player this season, is unlikely to be involved.
The England international withdrew from the Three Lions’ squad last month due to a hamstring injury.
And although the Arsenal boss has confirmed that he is ‘feeling better’, Arteta also revealed that the 19-year-old winger hasn’t returned to training yet.
Considering the match is in three days, it does look unlikely that Saka will be available for the North Londoners.
And here’s how some Arsenal fans reacted to the update on Twitter today:
Arteta’s side have a huge Europa League quarter-final against Slavia Prague next week and maybe it’s better if Saka simply rests up in preparation for that one.
Playing Liverpool is always a big game, but Arsenal don’t have a lot to play for in the Premier League and therefore the Prague clash with certainly be the Londoners’ priority.
