Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Aaron Cresswell has waxed-lyrical about reported Leeds United target Adama Traore.

Leeds have been linked with a summer move for Traore, and with Duncan Castles recently claiming that the Spaniard is up for sale, a move could be on the cards at the end of the season.

We all know what Traore is like, but Cresswell’s comments here gives us a little more of a taster of what he’d be like if he joined Leeds.

“Adama Traore. I’ve played against him about 10 times, and I don’t think I’ve kept up with him. He’s given me about 10 yards and I still can’t keep up with him. He’s unbelievable, he’s got pace, power and strength and he even oils his arms up so you can’t grab him. I don’t know how you stop him. I don’t think anyone knows how to stop him,” Cresswell said.

That’s big praise from an astute defender.

Cresswell rarely struggles against any winger, proving himself to be one of the best defenders in the country this season, but if we’re being honest, marking Traore is one of the hardest tasks a left-back could face.

The Spaniard combines a ridiculous level of pace and power, and if he joined Leeds, he’d certainly give them an extra dimension.

For now though, he’s a Wolves player, and Fulham will have to find a way to deal with him on Friday evening.
