Reported Arsenal target Achraf Hakimi has no plans to leave Inter Milan this summer, with his agent telling Calciomercato that the Morocco international is ‘very happy’ at the Serie A leaders.
A fortnight ago, Alejandro Camano appeared to give some hope to Hakimi’s many suitors.
When asked about a potential departure from the club he joined in a £40 million deal as recently as July, the agent refused to rule anything out.
“Why not? We aren’t excluding anything,” he said.
At the time, Arsenal fans could have been forgiven for dreaming big, wondering if arguably the most exciting right-back in world football was going to end up at the Emirates after all (the Telegraph).
But, just two weeks later, Camano has wasted little time in slamming the door shut once again.

“As of today, he is very happy to play for such an important club. I don’t know what the future holds, but I say today that Hakimi is happy and his team is Inter,” the agent said of the former Real Madrid youngster, who has helped Antonio Conte’s side move six points clear of rivals Milan at the top of the table.
“The objective is to win the Scudetto. After that, Inter’s situation at the club level is complicated, but I repeat: we are very happy here in football terms.
“He has a five-year contract, we signed because we were so confident of Inter’s project. We’ll see what happens in future, but this is a very important step in his career.
“We certainly don’t intend on leaving the team in such a delicate situation.”
While Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers, Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have shared right-back duties between them at Arsenal, with none of the aforementioned quartet really establishing themselves as MIkel Arteta’s first-choice, Hakimi is comfortably one of the first names on Conte’s team-sheet.
He has produced 12 goals and assists already in blue and black.
