Steven Gerrard’s Rangers are having a wonderful season. The Gers are pretty much guaranteed of winning the Scottish Premiership title and have also progressed to the last-16 stage of the Europa League.
Rangers will face Slavia Prague in the Round of 16. The Czech club got the better of Premier League side Leicester City in the last 32.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch has been impressed by Rangers, but the BT Sports pundit has warned the Gers not to get carried away.
Crouch played with Gerrard for Liverpool and the England national football team.
The Englishman wrote in The Daily Mail: “The Europa League looks more winnable for our [English] teams and I wouldn’t discount Steven Gerrard taking Rangers deep into the competition, either — but, again, don’t get carried away.
“I was very impressed by Slavia Prague, who looked a proper team in beating Leicester. There is quality everywhere.”

Staying confident
True, Slavia are a good team who shocked Leicester, but Rangers should be confident. After all, not many would have expected the Gers to come this far in the Europa League.
Over two legs anything is possible. Rangers will not be under pressure, and that will help them in playing their natural game.
Gerrard was a great player who regularly featured in big games and in big competitions, and the Liverpool legend will know how to prepare his Rangers players for this grand occasion.
