Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson was on the end of a humiliating moment when he was nutmegged in England training by Kyle Walker.

This wasn’t any ordinary nutmeg, but one that left many England players in shock, including Newcastle United’s very own, Kieran Trippier

In a typical Rondo session, where two players are in the middle and their teammates in a circle pass the ball around to each other with one-touch passes, Newcastle’s number nine, Callum Wilson, was well and truly outdone by, Kyle Walker.

Not only did the Treble-winner with Manchester City nutmeg Wilson, but he did it whilst looking away and also shouted ‘watch them legs’ just before he nutmegged the Newcastle man, as England posted on YouTube.

It left the England players screaming in shock, with Wilson seeing the funny side to it all. Perhaps Michail Antonio will mention it in their podcast?

Nonetheless, this is how Trippier reacted to Wilson being nutmegged, before the Newcastle striker laughed and joked with Walker ‘don’t do that to me again’ (7.59 seconds into the video, which you can see below).

Reaction to Kyle Walker’s nutmeg on Callum Wilson

“Oooh, he’s got it as well (as Trippier pointed towards the cameraman after the nutmeg),” said Trippier. “He’s got it. Keep going. Keep going.”

“It’s from half a pitch away. Hey, don’t do that to me ever (again),” laughed Wilson in response, before hugging Walker.

Will Wilson play against Scotland?

With Harry Kane leading the line for England, it’s pretty hard to earn those regular minutes on the international stage if you are a striker.

But with Tuesday’s titanic battle against Scotland being a friendly, then surely Wilson will earn some minutes?

Yes, the two teams will play the game like it’s a competitive match, but Gareth Southgate can still make as many changes as he wishes.
