Piers Morgan is hoping Cesc Fabregas stays clear of Chelsea interest.
It has been something of a torrid time for Cesc Fabregas this summer. Barcelona are keen to offload one of their big names in order to fund a defensive overhaul – and Luis Enrique and co look to have decided the former Arsenal man can go.
At least he can take solace in the amount of teams apparently interested in signing him. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been mentioned as potential destinations for the player.
But it is Chelsea who have emerged as the front-runners to bring him in.
According to reports in Spain last night, it was a done deal – at least if you believe the barely comprehendible mutterings of Gerard Pique to Vicente Del Bosque in Spain.
Those loose reports last night spread like wildfire on social media – causing reaction from plenty of Arsenal fans. Even the famous ones.
Piers Morgan, a well known Arsenal fanatic, took to Twitter to personally send Fabregas a message on his official account simply reading ‘DON’T DO IT’.
