Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has told ESPN that he is not going to change his opinion of Hugo Lloris despite his mistakes against Manchester City.
Lloris made two errors in the Premier League game against City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
The France international is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and his mistakes against the Citizens came as a surprise.
The 30-year-old’s performance could have cost Spurs all three points as both of his errors ended in goals for the home team, but in the end the match finished in a 2-2 draw.
Pochettino has praised the performance of Lloris in the first half, and has made it clear that his mistakes on Saturday evening is not going to change his opinion.

“I think Lloris kept us in the game in the first half,” the Spurs manager told ESPN. “He was very good in the first half with one or two big saves. I don’t change my opinion on him.
“He is one of the best goalkeepers and sometimes those things happen in football. That action can happen but it was a very good performance on the pitch.”

Lloris is a world-class goalkeeper, and Pochettino is right in backing the Tottenham star.
True, the former Lyon star was responsible for both the goals that City scored, but these things happen in football.
Spurs are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 46 points from 22 matches.
