The Ajax ace would be a sensational addition for Liverpool.

Liverpool were so close to creating history last season.
They missed out on winning the Premier League title by just one point, but were successful in lifting the Champions League trophy for the sixth time in their history.
So how do they improve next season?
Last term, drab draws with West Ham United, Leicester City and Everton proved to be costly for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the race for the Premier League title.
It could be argued that in those games in particular, Liverpool had no plan B, and lacked any kind of creativity and guile from midfield.
With this in mind, the addition of a ball-playing midfielder – one who can provide goals and assists, will surely be a priority for the Reds this summer.
And who better than Ajax ace Donny van de Beek.
The 22-year-old was in exceptional form last season, racking up 17 goals and 13 assists in 57 appearances in all competitions.
He really is an elite midfielder, and he’s be perfect for Liverpool.

He’s comfortable in possession
Van de Beek is technically excellent, and has the ability to receive the ball in tight areas, before using his wonderful vision to pick out a pass.
His creativity and guile in the middle of the park would be a real asset for Liverpool, whilst his perfectly timed runs into the opposition’s penalty box would give them another threat in the final third.
Goals and assists

Liverpool have often relied way too much on Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in recent years. The Holland international would give them the added bonus of goals and assists from midfield.
He’s great value for money
According to the Daily Mail, the Ajax ace is available for just £45 million this summer, and in today’s day and age, that would represent excellent value for money for the Merseyside club.
And if Klopp does manage to bring him to Anfield, it could turn out to be an exceptional piece of business from Liverpool.
