Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited about suggestions that they could move for Callum Wilson next.
The Daily Star suggest that Tottenham will try and land Wilson, as soon as they have secured the addition of Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.
Spurs appear to be closing in on the Southampton midfielder now, with Daniel Levy now said to be about to turn his attentions to landing a striker.
Bournemouth currently reportedly want around £20 million for the striker, but Levy is hoping to get their asking price to come down slightly.
And Tottenham fans feel that Wilson could be an excellent addition to their squad.
Wilson actually didn’t have his most productive season with Bournemouth last campaign, as he was unable to save the Cherries from the drop.
The England international forward only hit seven goals, but over the 2018/19 campaign he scored 14 times.
If Wilson was to arrive at Tottenham he would likely join as back-up to Harry Kane, but he could give Jose Mourinho’s side another option up-front.
Wilson is far quicker than Kane, and his pace could be key in games where Tottenham are struggling to unlock defences.
