Liverpool won against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool maintained their charge towards the Premier League title at the weekend, as they got the better of Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at home.
It was not a pretty win for Liverpool, though, as the Merseyside outfit needed a late own goal from Toby Alderweireld to pick up all three points from the Premier League encounter on Sunday evening.
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was at fault for Liverpool’s winning goal as he failed to keep out a simple effort towards target.
Don Hutchison was following the match, and the former Liverpool midfielder has made an observation on Twitter about the contribution of 25-year-old Scotland international left-back Andrew Robertson to the second goal.

The win against Tottenham means that Liverpool are now at the top of the Premier League table with 79 points from 32 matches.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are two points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City, who have played 31 games.
The Reds will return to action on Friday evening when they take on Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.
