Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking flair and fearless play is back after the appointment of Ange Posstecoglou.

When Harry Kane departed, many would have been worried about the club and how it could derail them.

But if anything, Tottenham became stronger and even scored more goals (74) compared to the previous campaign when they netted 70.

Not only that, Spurs returned to Europe and now Postecoglou will be looking towards Daniel Levy to help him out in the summer transfer market.

The profile of player Postecoglou is looking for is pretty clear, especially the attacking players. You need speed to burn and the ability to carry the ball with ease, the club’s first deal of the summer was to bring back Timo Werner.

One man Tottenham are keen on signing is Napoli’s flying winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, sources have told HITC.

Don Hutchison spoke about the player’s future and thinks he is ‘world-class’, but told him to ‘not get ahead of yourself’ amid these rumours, as he told ESPN.

The Italian football expert and former midfielder was reacting to Kvaratskhelia’s agent claiming that he wants to leave Napoli.

But Hutchison feels he needs to keep his head down, spend another season in Naples following the appointment of Antonio Conte and realise what the club have done for him.

Tottenham’s transfer interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

“It’s a poker move to try and get a new contract,” said Hutchison. “The unfortunate thing for Kvaratskhelia’s camp is that there is no market for him, at the minute.

“That’s a £100 million player. There are probably no teams out there, apart from PSG, that can spend £100 million on the player. They complain that they want to play Champions League football. They should sit him down and remind him of what Napoli have done for him. Made him into a world-class player.  He’s going to work with Antonio Conte. You aren’t going to win a contract fight with De Laurentiis.

“The talent is there, but don’t get ahead of yourself. Playing for Napoli under Antonio Conte this season could be amazing for him. He is still 23 – the timing is horrendous.”

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the Premier League

You feel his talents are worthy of entering the Premier League stage, it’s just a case of who is willing to spend big money on him.

Kvaratskhelia has a contract until 2027, so from that sense, Napoli have protection and don’t have to worry too much.

Plus, the Georgia player, who is currently at Euro 2024, is only 23 and he has plenty of time to make a big move to the Premier League.

Kvaratskhelia is like Jack Grealish, but with more speed and directness. Tottenham aren’t the only club keen on him, so this is one to watch out for.
