Don Hutchison wants Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa at Liverpool.

Former Liverpool player Don Hutchison says that he will go ‘all out’ to sign Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich for the Reds.
The football pundit made these remarks while commenting on Gelson Martins. The Portuguese winger has been linked with a move to Liverpool, as reported by Sky Sports, but Hutchison says that he can be a player for the future.
Instead, he wants Liverpool to sign players who are “finished articles”, so that they are not “left behind” the pack. On that context, he wants Bayern’s Douglas Costa, who could be sold this summer.

According to recent reports from German newspaper Bild, Bayern are willing to sell the Brazilian winger for around €40 million.
Hutchison tweeted:
Costa, arguably one of the best wingers in the world, is under contract till 2020 at the German club. However, after failing to establish himself as a first team regular, the club is ready to cash in on him.

Back in April, The Mirror reported that Tottenham Hotspur are planning to sign the 26-year-old winger for around £30 million, some £5 million short of Bayern’s valuation.
He is also frequently linked with a move to Liverpool, with the Express reporting in April that Jurgen Klopp is preparing a shock move for the former Shakhtar Donetsk attacker.
Hutchison has a valid point here. Liverpool should be looking to build their team around established stars this season rather than look at players with potential, who may or may not turn out to be a success.
