Former Liverpool defender Jim Beglin and Don Hutchison have suggested that Marco Silva’s Everton need to sign a striker.

Former Liverpool left-back Jim Beglin has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Everton need to sign a prolific striker.
Beglin, who was on the books of Liverpool from 1983 until 1989, made the comments following Everton’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun had chances for the Toffees, but the two strikers failed to take them.
Former Everton midfielder Don Hutchison has also suggested on Twitter that the Toffees need a striker.
The former Scotland international has suggested Fiorentina striker Giovanni Simeone as a realistic target for Everton.
The 23-year-old, who is the son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone and is a very good striker and is valued at €55.3 million (£49.48m) by the the CIES Football Observatory.
Meanwhile, former Everton left-back Michael Ball has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Marco Silva’s side’s defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
