The Croatian was sacked as West Ham United manager this week.

Former West Ham United midfielder Don Hutchison has taken to Twitter to have his say following Slaven Bilic’s exit from the London Stadium.
The pressure had been on the former Croatian international for some time, and the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday proved to be the final straw for the Hammers hierarchy.

That will come as a bitter blow to a manager who clearly wanted to turn things round at West Ham, although Hutchison for one feels that in time it will come as a blessed relief for the ex-centre-back.
“Slaven Bilic doesn’t know it yet,” the pundit wrote, “But in a week or two…he will be so relieved. He carried the can/pressure for the whole club.”
Questions have been asked about the West Ham’s board’s failure to sign the right calibre of player in recent times, especially when you consider the appeal of a club based in the capital with a rich history and an impressive stadium.

When Bilic first arrived at at the club he was hailed as the man to take the Hammers to the next level. For a time he looked to be on course but a number of factors have played their part in his recent struggles.
Now it is another man’s responsibility and Bilic is unlikely to be out of work for long if that is the path he chooses to take.
