Don Hutchison has said on Twitter that he has heard that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester City in the summer of 2021.

The former Liverpool midfielder, who now works as a pundit for Premier League Productions, made the comments while suggesting that the Reds need to sign a number nine following their defeat to Burnley in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Could Harry Kane join Manchester City?

Sergio Aguero remains one of the best strikers in the world, but the Argentine has had injury problems and is also 32 years of age.

A report in The Independent earlier this month claimed of interest from City in Kane, as covered by HITC Sport.

True, City could offer the England international a big salary and the chance to win major trophies, but Spurs are a big club as well and could go places under head coach Jose Mourinho.

The 27-year-old has been on the books of Spurs his entire club football career so far, is loved by the fans, and is chasing goalscoring records.

Kane could very well stay at Tottenham for the rest of his career. At least, Spurs fans will hope so.
