Sunderland parted company with Simon Grayson last night, after a draw with Bolton Wanderers.
Don Hutchison has suggested that Sunderland should go for Peter Reid, following the dismissal of Simon Grayson yesterday.
Grayson was let go almost immediately after Sunderland failed to beat Bolton Wanderers at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland could only manage to get a 3-3 draw with Bolton, which leaves them still looking for their first home win of 2017.

The Black Cats have managed to win just one Championship match this season, and currently sit in 23rd place in the table.
Sunderland’s board decided that Grayson no longer deserved any more time to find the winning formula.
And Hutchison has urged the Wearsiders to appoint Reid again, following Grayson’s dismissal.
Reid’s first spell in charge of Sunderland lasted for seven years between 1995 and 2002.
The 61-year-old has arguably had the most success of any Sunderland manager in recent times, and regularly had them competing for a European place.
Reid has not managed since 2014, when he parted company with Indian club Mumbai City.
