Everton won 1-0 against Ružomberok in Europa League qualifying last night.
Don Hutchison has suggested that Everton need to buy a rapid striker this summer, after watching them play in the Europa League last night.
Everton were short of their best in their first competitive match of the campaign against Ružomberok.
The Toffees started with Wayne Rooney up-front in the contest last night, and he was flanked by Kevin Mirallas and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Everton’s attack didn’t look too threatening though, with their Slovakian opponents generally dealing with them well.

Indeed, it was only a deflected effort from Leighton Baines which proved the difference between the two sides.
And Hutchison has suggested that Everton need to add more pace to their attack, if they are to improve their productivity up-front.
Everton have already added a whole host of new players to their squad, but they are expected to continue to invest before the season starts.
The Toffees are still looking to replace Romelu Lukaku up-front, after his move to Manchester United, and a new striker is believed to be near the top of Ronald Koeman’s transfer wishlist.
