Former West Ham ace sticks up for the London Stadium.
West Ham’s Don Hutchison in action
West Ham United’s London Stadium has come in for criticism after clashes between supporters during the EFL Cup match with Chelsea.
Missiles were thrown between the two sets of fans, with The BBC reporting arrests have since been made.

Former Hammers midfielder Don Hutchison was in attendance for the 2-1 win over Chelsea, and he has defended the stadium, insisting there was a great atmosphere at the ground.
While stewards were standing between the two sets of rival fans, Hutchison has urged police to fulfil that role instead to solve the problem.
Getting police inside the ground is not so simple however, as the stadium’s radio system is not yet operational, which would allow officers to communicate.
The Mail report it could be a number of weeks, even months before this problem is solved.
With ongoing criticism of the stadium, Hutchison is adamant that it is not the ground itself that it problematic, but ‘idiots’ causing trouble inside it.
Evidently with the radio problems it is far from perfect at this stage, with MP Mark Field telling the London Evening Standard yesterday: “Within the next 14 days, the board of West Ham United FC should present a detailed plan to the FA and Premier League outlining what they are going to do about security.”
