The former Liverpool man was less than complimentary about the Reds.
Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison has made his feelings for Mario Balotelli perfectly clear on Twitter.
The 26-year-old’s miserable two-year spell as a Liverpool player came to an end last week when he joined Ligue 1 outfit Nice.
Balotelli, who joined the Reds for £16 million in 2014, netted two goals on his debut for the French outfit on Sunday.
Quoted by BBC afterwards, the former AC Milan striker reflected on his time on Merseyside, praising the fans but claiming that joining the club – then managed by Brendan Rodgers – was the “worst decision of my life”.
Hutchison, who spent four years at Liverpool until 1994, reacted strongly to the reported quotes from Balotelli and aired his views on Twitter.
He wrote: “What an absolute c**k. #Kidsgotheadproblems.”
Balotelli, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan and netted one league goal, scored once in the Premier League for Liverpool – a run of form which perfectly illustrates the problems he encountered.
It appears as if Nice is his last chance to salvage what looked a promising career at one point, and he has got off to a fine start, but there is a long way to go.
