Hakim Ziyech could have been playing for West Ham United or Crystal Palace.

Don Hutchison has claimed he told his former club West Ham United, as well as Crystal Palace, to sign Hakim Ziyech ‘years ago’.
Ziyech is one of the Ajax players who starred en route to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
And the Moroccan winger has taken his fine form into the new campaign, in which he has scored six goals and created 14 – including three against Chelsea on Tuesday.
Hutchison – who enjoyed two spells with Crystal Palace’s London rivals, West Ham – has long been a fan of Ziyech, for whom Ajax are reported to have paid around £10 million to sign from FC Twente in 2016.

And responding to a fan who tweeted about the player The Daily Mail linked Tottenham Hotspur with a £40m move for earlier this year, Hutchison said:
Ziyech’s price tag is only likely to have risen this season, and more prestigious clubs than West Ham United and Crystal Palace are sure to be lurking should Ajax make the 26-year-old available.
