Aston Villa signed a number of players in the summer transfer window, including Josh Onomah and Robert Snodgrass.

Villa have made a disappointing start to the 2017-18 Championship campaign.
Steve Bruce’s side are 18th in the Championship table at the moment with just five points from as many matches.
The Villans made a number of signings in the summer transfer window, including defender John Terry on a free transfer, winger Robert Snodgrass on loan from West Ham United and midfielder Josh Onomah on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Wolves and Sunderland striker Goodman has given his take on the current situation at Villa, and has said the he is surprised at the criticism that manger Bruce has received already this season.

“It’s not been an easy start for Aston Villa,” Goodman told Sky Sports. “They were pre-season favourites for many, and there was a lot of fanfare around the signing of John Terry, but there are still problems at the club.
“I can’t believe the amount of criticism Steve Bruce has had. He’s proved in the past that if you stay with him he’ll get you promoted sooner or later. It may not happen this season, but it will happen eventually.
“He’s probably got a bigger rebuilding job to do than every other manager in the Championship.”

Villa have a good squad and have a number of quality players, and the Villa Park faithful should be patient.
True, the Villans’ performances and results have not been great so far this season, but Bruce is a good manager and the club should have faith in him.
