One of Jordan Jones’ teammates has warned he will block the winger from ‘Twitter and memory’ when he joins Rangers this summer.

Jones signed a pre-contract agreement with Steven Gerrard’s side earlier this season and will move to Ibrox on 1 June.

But Dominic Thomas – the Kilmarnock and former Celtic winger who has previous with Rangers fans on Twitter – is seemingly not on board.

After Jones joked that he has blocked Thomas after the latter player’s decision to go vegan, the 23-year-old replied:

Thomas previously vowed he would never play for Rangers ‘in a million years’, in a tweet he has since deleted.

But the Glaswegian was left somewhat red-faced when several of a Gers persuasion pointed out the question he had responded to was instead meant for his then Scotland Under-21 teammate, Oli McBurnie.

McBurnie, a well-known Rangers supporter, was tagged in the initial post alongside Thomas.
