Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be keen on Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke.

Rangers are said to be interested in the striker, but Liverpool won’t allow him to leave before August, as they want to assess their attacking options.
Going for Solanke would now have to be considered a risk for Steven Gerrard’s side, as they could miss out on other targets in the process.

But Rangers would be wise to hang around for Solanke, as he is good enough to be worth the wait.
Solanke could genuinely be a potent hitman in Scotland, and Rangers looks like an ideal move for him.
Although the youngster has struggled to score regularly at Premier League level, his goalscoring record in youth and development football shows his talent.

Jurgen Klopp clearly rates the striker too, having used him off the bench so regularly this season, and that highlights how much ability the 20-year-old has.
At Rangers, Solanke could be one of the biggest threats in Scotland.
And, even if it is now a gamble to bring him to Ibrox, Rangers should wait – as he would be worth the risk, if they managed to sign him.
