Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are chasing Dominic Solanke on loan, and he could have a similar impact to Patrick Roberts at Celtic.

If Dominic Solanke signs for Glasgow Rangers (Daily Mirror), he could become their version of Patrick Roberts.
Roberts joined Celtic way back in 2016, and he has gone on to spend the last two and a half years on loan at Parkhead.
The winger has been a massive hit at Celtic, and there is no reason why Solanke couldn’t have similar success at Rangers.

Granted, Solanke’s showings in Liverpool’s first-team have ultimately not been too productive this season, but his talent is undeniable and he would be a wonderful addition to Rangers’ squad.
Solanke is regarded as one of England’s top prospects, and under the tutelage of Steven Gerrard at Ibrox he could thrive.
Solanke would offer Rangers pace and power up-front, and he would surely be an upgrade on any of their current options.

Roberts has already shown England’s brightest youngsters that a move to Scotland can be great for their development.
And if Solanke does follow the Manchester City youngster to Glasgow, then he could make a huge impact at Rangers and become a fans’ favourite with the Ibrox crowd over the next season.
