Rangers were reportedly keen on Dominic Solanke over the summer.

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has told the Daily Mail that he is happy to fight for playing time at Anfield amid rumours of a January move.
The Reds snapped up Solanke from Chelsea in the summer of 2017, with the striker frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge, and he headed to Merseyside in search of playing time.
Whilst he clearly has potential, Solanke has played just 27 games for Liverpool, scoring only once, and hasn’t played a single minute of first-team football this season.
The 21-year-old is in danger of being stuck at Liverpool in the same way as he was at Chelsea, and reports are now linking him with a January move.
Crystal Palace and West Ham United are keen on a loan deal for Solanke according to The Sun, whilst the Daily Record noted in August that Rangers are interested too.
With the Gers in the market for another striker, they could yet return for Solanke in January, especially as former Reds hero Steven Gerrard is in charge at Ibrox and already has Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria on loan from Liverpool.

Now though, Solanke – in line to play for the England Under-21’s tonight – has suggested that he is willing to fight at Liverpool, and believes he can trust Jurgen Klopp’s plan for his development having helped bring through Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez, with the striker seemingly not giving up on playing time this season.
“Jurgen is a great manager and he knows what he is doing, especially when he is bringing people through,” said Solanke. “You can see what he has done with Trent (Alexander-Arnold) and Joe (Gomez) at the moment and how far they have gone. They have been two vital players for us this season. I have known them for a few years now so I have seen them breakthrough and he definitely helped them.”
“All the team are good (providing support and advice), really. Everyone has helped me. From the moment I got to Liverpool, they all made me feel welcome and I settled in quite quickly. Whenever they see someone they can give a hand to, they always will. It is always nice when you come away and get minutes, especially for your country. Of course, everyone wants to play for their clubs and when you have been away, you have got to go back and fight. But these little breaks are always good, especially if you are getting minutes,” he added.
