Leeds United moved three points clear in the battle for automatic-promotion out of the Championship on Saturday.

Dominic Matteo took to Twitter to laud both the Leeds players and fans after the 1-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, with the former defender singling out Kalvin Phillips for particular praise.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side now sit three points clear of Sheffield United after another dramatic day in the Championship promotion race. The Blades conceded a 95th minute equaliser to draw 1-1 with Millwall, meaning that they needed a favour from their bitter rivals to stay ahead of Leeds in the table.
However, the Whites quickly regained second spot. Jack Harrison scored the only goal in the second-half, but only after Keiren Westwood had produced a goalkeeping masterclass before the break to keep the scores level.
The Owls had a few outstanding chances, but it was another fantastic display from Leeds, who now need 10 points from their remaining four games to guarantee automatic-promotion.

It certainly feels as though it is advantage Leeds. And that was conveyed in the atmosphere after Millwall had equalised and once Harrison had scored what proved to be the winner at Elland Road.
And Matteo was one of those to express his delight on social media, with the exceptional performance from Phillips in the middle of the park also highlighted in his message on Twitter.
