Leeds United have new investors.

Leeds United confirmed today they have secured investment from the San Francisco 49ers.
The NFL franchise now have a strategic partnership with the Whites, with owner Andrea Radrizzani selling around 10 per cent of his shares, BBC Sport reported.
Former Leeds defender Dominic Matteo has welcomed the news, and believes it can kick off a strong season next year.

Leeds finished 13th in Andrea Radrizzani’s first year in charge and the Whites want to mount a serious play-off push next year.
To do there will need to be considerable investment in new players, and extra funds coming into the club will help towards that.
Part of the big task ahead is to convince the fans that this season can be different, and clearly there is work being done behind the scenes for Leeds to move forward.
Next season will be difficult, but off the pitch Leeds are trying to get everything in place, and the benefits of the tie up with the 49ers will become clearer over the years to come.
