Dominic Iorfa has taken to Twitter to express his delight at joining Sheffield Wednesday from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As announced on Wednesday’s official website, Iorfa has moved to the Championship club from Premier League club Wolves on a permanent contract on January transfer deadline day.

The 23-year-old defender has taken to Twitter to express his delight at making the move to the Owls.

Good signing for Sheffield Wednesday

Iorfa is a good defender who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, and he is a very smart signing for Wednesday.

Stefan Johansen of Fulham tackles Dominic Iorfa of Ipswich during the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Ipswich Town at Craven Cottage on January 2, 2018 in London, England.

Given that the former England Under-21 international is only 23 years of age, Iorfa will be a good long-term signing for the Owls.

Wednesday are 17th in the Championship table at the moment with 35 points from 28 matches.

It is going to be hard for the Owls to break into the top six, but with former Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce in charge, anything is possible for Wednesday.
