Everton signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Sheffield United last summer.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has told Everton’s official website that he always believed Sheffield United would be promoted this season, following Chris Wilder’s arrival.
Calvert-Lewin spent pre-season with the Blades, before making the move to Everton.
And the youngster left Bramall Lane, knowing that his old side were in good shape for the season ahead.

“The pre-season was a bit of a transition for them with the gaffer trying to find his best team but you could tell towards the back end of the summer that things were starting to pick up,” Calvert-Lewin said.
“A few games into the season after I had left they started to win matches.”
Sheffield United did go on to win League One comfortably in the end, with Wilder’s side being the dominant force in the division.

Even without Calvert-Lewin available, the Blades were still able to score freely.
Calvert-Lewin, meanwhile, has enjoyed a productive first season at Everton.
The 20-year-old forward has made 11 Premier League appearances for Everton, scoring once.
Calvert-Lewin is currently on international duty with the England under-20’s at the World Cup in South Korea.
