The Sassuolo star’s agent is already aware of interest from Liverpool.
The former Premier League champions are reportedly ready to ‘join the auction’.
It has been further claimed that it will cost €40-€45 million (£34.18-£38.45m) for Liverpool to sign Berardi.

Liverpool have a very strong attacking unit, but there is always room for better players.
Moreover, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino did not have the best of seasons in 2020-21.
Yes, Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer, and the Portugal international forward could have made a much bigger impact had he not suffered an injury.
But, if Liverpool are to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea for the Premier League title and also win the Champions League next season, then they could do with better players to increase competition in the squad.
Berardi scored 17 goals and gave seven assists in Serie A last season while playing as a right-winger/right-sided forward.
In 2019-20, the Italian star scored 14 goals and gave 10 assists in the league.
